Method 1: Change your Gmail username (not recommended)

Note: Changing your Gmail username is not recommended as it will affect all your existing emails, contacts, and settings.

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
  4. Click on "Change account settings."
  5. Enter your new username and confirm it.
  6. Click "Save Changes."

Method 2: Create a new Gmail account and transfer your data

  1. Sign in to your current Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
  4. Click on "Add a POP3 mail account" or "Add a mail account" (depending on your email client).
  5. Enter your new Gmail account credentials and click "Next."
  6. Follow the prompts to transfer your data from your old account to the new one.
  7. Once the transfer is complete, you can delete your old Gmail account.
