Hillary email address

The infamous Hillary email controversy!

In 2013, Hillary Clinton, then the United States Secretary of State, set up a personal email account on a private email server located in her home in Chappaqua, New York. This was in addition to her official State Department email account.

The email address in question was [email protected], which was used by Clinton and her staff to conduct official government business. The "hrod" part of the address is an acronym for "Hillary Rodham Obama" (Clinton's maiden name).

The use of a private email server and account raised concerns about the security and transparency of Clinton's email communications, particularly with regards to the handling of classified information. The controversy surrounding the email server and account became a major issue during Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and was investigated by the FBI.

In July 2016, the FBI concluded its investigation into Clinton's email practices and recommended that no charges be filed against her. However, the controversy continued to be a topic of debate and criticism throughout the campaign and beyond.
