Hotmail block user email

Hotmail, now known as Outlook.com, has a feature to block specific email addresses or domains to prevent unwanted emails from reaching your inbox. Here's how to block a user's email address in Hotmail:

Method 1: Block an email address using the Outlook.com web interface

  1. Log in to your Outlook.com account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "View all Outlook settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Mail" section.
  5. Click on "Blocked senders" under the "Filters and other options" section.
  6. Enter the email address you want to block in the "Block" field.
  7. Click "Add" to add the email address to the block list.

Method 2: Block an email address using the Outlook.com mobile app

  1. Open the Outlook.com mobile app on your device.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines () in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Mail" section.
  5. Tap on "Blocked senders" under the "Filters and other options" section.
  6. Enter the email address you want to block in the "Block" field.
  7. Tap "Add" to add the email address to the block list.

Once you've blocked an email address, any emails sent from that address will be automatically moved to your "Junk email" folder. If you want to report a specific email as spam, you can do so by clicking on the "Junk" button in the top right corner of the email.

Note that blocking an email address only prevents emails from that specific address from reaching your inbox. If you want to block an entire domain or a range of email addresses, you may need to use a different method, such as using a third-party email client or a spam filtering service.
