Hotmail change junk mail settings

To change the junk mail settings in Hotmail, follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Hotmail Website

  1. Sign in to your Hotmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "More mail settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Junk email" section.
  5. Click on "Safe senders" or "Blocked senders" to manage your lists.
  6. To add a sender to the safe senders list, enter their email address in the "Add to safe senders" field and click "Add".
  7. To add a sender to the blocked senders list, enter their email address in the "Add to blocked senders" field and click "Add".
  8. You can also adjust the junk email filtering settings by selecting one of the following options:
    • "Low" (less aggressive filtering)
    • "Medium" (default filtering)
    • "High" (more aggressive filtering)
    • "Very high" (most aggressive filtering)

Method 2: Using the Outlook.com App

  1. Open the Outlook.com app on your device.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines () in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Junk email" section.
  5. Tap on "Safe senders" or "Blocked senders" to manage your lists.
  6. To add a sender to the safe senders list, tap on "Add sender" and enter their email address.
  7. To add a sender to the blocked senders list, tap on "Add sender" and enter their email address.
