Hotmail in outlook 2013

Hotmail and Outlook are both email services offered by Microsoft, and they have a long history of integration. Here's how you can access your Hotmail account in Outlook 2013:

  1. Open Outlook 2013 and go to the "File" menu.
  2. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
  3. Choose "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
  4. Enter your Hotmail email address and password, and then click "Next".
  5. Select the account type (POP3 or IMAP) and enter the following settings:
    • Incoming mail server: imap-mail.outlook.com
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp-mail.outlook.com
    • User name: your Hotmail email address
    • Password: your Hotmail password
  6. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.

Method 2: Use the Outlook Hotmail Connector

  1. Download and install the Outlook Hotmail Connector from the Microsoft website.
  2. Open Outlook 2013 and go to the "File" menu.
  3. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Hotmail" from the list of available accounts.
  4. Enter your Hotmail email address and password, and then click "Next".
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the setup process.

Once you've set up your Hotmail account in Outlook 2013, you'll be able to access your Hotmail inbox, send and receive emails, and use other Outlook features like calendar and contacts.

Note: If you're using Outlook 2013 with a Microsoft account (formerly known as a Windows Live ID), you may not need to set up your Hotmail account separately. You can simply sign in to Outlook 2013 with your Microsoft account credentials and access your Hotmail inbox.
