Hotmail mailbox is full

A common issue!

If your Hotmail mailbox is full, you'll need to free up some space to receive new emails. Here are some steps to help you do so:

  1. Log in to your Hotmail account: Go to the Hotmail website (www.hotmail.com) and sign in to your account.
  2. Check your mailbox size: Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner of the page, then select "View all Outlook settings" from the dropdown menu. Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and look for the "Storage" or "Mailbox size" option. This will show you how much space is available in your mailbox.
  3. Delete unwanted emails: Start deleting emails that you no longer need or want. You can do this by selecting multiple emails at once and clicking the "Delete" button. You can also use the "Empty folder" button to delete all emails in a specific folder.
  4. Empty the Junk Email folder: If you have a lot of spam emails in your Junk Email folder, you can empty it by clicking the "Empty folder" button.
  5. Use the "Large Folder" feature: If you have a large number of emails in a specific folder, you can use the "Large Folder" feature to reduce the size of that folder. To do this, go to the folder, click the "More" menu, and select "Large Folder".
  6. Consider upgrading to Outlook: If you're still using Hotmail, you might want to consider upgrading to Outlook, which offers more storage space and features. You can do this by signing in to your Hotmail account and clicking on the "Upgrade to Outlook" button.

Remember to regularly clean out your mailbox to avoid running out of space in the future!
