To set up Hotmail on your Samsung Galaxy S5, follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable IMAP

  1. Go to your Galaxy S5's Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and select "Accounts" or "Cloud and accounts" (depending on your device's software version).
  3. Tap "Add account" or "New account".
  4. Select "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync" or "Microsoft Exchange" (depending on your device's software version).
  5. Enter your Hotmail email address and password.
  6. Tap "Next" and then "Manual setup".
  7. Select "IMAP" as the account type.
  8. Enter the following IMAP settings:
    • Server: imap-mail.outlook.com
    • Port: 993
