How can i recall my mail in outlook
There are several ways to recall a sent email in Outlook:
Method 1: Using the "Recall This Message" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Sent Items" folder.
- Find the email you want to recall and right-click on it.
- Select "Recall This Message" from the context menu.
- In the "Recall This Message" dialog box, select the option "Delete unread copies of this message" and choose whether you want to delete the message from the recipient's mailbox or just from your own mailbox.
- Click "OK" to recall the message.
Method 2: Using the "Workaround" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Sent Items" folder.
- Find the email you want to recall and right-click on it.
- Select "Move" from the context menu.
- In the "Move" dialog box, select the folder where you want to move the email (e.g. "Deleted Items").
- Click "OK" to move the email to the selected folder.
Method 3: Using the "Search" feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "Search" box at the top of the screen.
- Type in the subject or keywords from the email you want to recall.
- Press Enter to search for the email.
- Once you find the email, right-click on it and select "Move" from the context menu.
- In the "Move" dialog box, select the folder where you want to move the email (e.g. "Deleted Items").
- Click "OK" to move the email to the selected folder.
Important notes:
- The "Recall This Message" feature only works if the recipient has not yet read the email.
- The "Workaround" method will move the email to the "Deleted Items" folder, but it will not delete the email from the recipient's mailbox.
- The "Search" method will only find emails that are still in your mailbox, so if you've already deleted the email, you won't be able to recall it using this method.
