How do i split the screen in mac mail

To split the screen in Mac Mail, you can use the "Split View" feature, which allows you to have two windows open side by side. Here's how:

  1. Open Mac Mail and navigate to the email you want to split the screen for.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen and select "Split View" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + Shift + > to enter Split View mode.
  4. Once in Split View mode, you can resize the windows by dragging the vertical bar between them.
  5. You can also use the "Tile" feature to tile the windows horizontally or vertically. To do this, click on the "Tile" button in the top-right corner of the screen, and then select "Tile Left" or "Tile Right" to tile the windows horizontally, or "Tile Top" or "Tile Bottom" to tile them vertically.

Note: Split View is only available in macOS High Sierra (10.13) and later versions.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Multiple Displays" feature to split the screen in Mac Mail. To do this:

  1. Open Mac Mail and navigate to the email you want to split the screen for.
  2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen and select "Multiple Displays" from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the "Multiple Displays" window, select the display you want to use for the secondary window.
  4. You can then resize the windows by dragging the vertical bar between them.

Note: Multiple Displays is only available in macOS El Capitan (10.11) and later versions.
