How do i turn on mail drop

Mail Drop is a feature in Apple's Mail app that allows you to send large files or files that are too big to send via email. Here's how to turn it on:

On a Mac:

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Click on "Mail" in the top menu bar and select "Preferences" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Comma).
  3. Click on the "Composing" tab.
  4. Check the box next to "Use Mail Drop" to enable the feature.

On an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner.
  3. Scroll down and tap on "Mail".
  4. Toggle the switch next to "Use Mail Drop" to the right to enable the feature.

Once you've enabled Mail Drop, you can use it to send large files by attaching them to an email message. When you try to send a file that's too big, Mail will automatically upload it to iCloud and provide a link to the file instead of sending the file itself. The recipient can then download the file from the link.

Note that Mail Drop is only available for files up to 5GB in size, and it requires an active internet connection to work.
