How make a group mail id in gmail
To create a group email address in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Create a group using Gmail's built-in feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "General" tab.
- Click on the "Create group" button.
- Enter a name for your group and add the email addresses of the people you want to include in the group.
- Click "Create" to create the group.
Method 2: Create a group using Gmail's "Contacts" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" button in the left sidebar.
- Click on the "New contact group" button.
- Enter a name for your group and add the email addresses of the people you want to include in the group.
- Click "Save" to save the group.
Method 3: Create a group using Gmail's "Labels" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Labels" button in the left sidebar.
- Click on the "New label" button.
- Enter a name for your label (e.g. "Team Meeting").
- Add the email addresses of the people you want to include in the group by typing them in the "To" field.
- Click "Save" to save the label.
Once you've created a group, you can use it to send emails to all the members of the group by addressing the email to the group name. For example, if you created a group called "Team Meeting", you can send an email to "[email protected]" and it will be delivered to all the members of the group.
Note: When you create a group, Gmail will automatically add the group name to the "To" field of the email, so you don't need to type in all the email addresses individually.
