How to add cc to already sent mail in gmail

Unfortunately, Gmail doesn't allow you to add a CC (carbon copy) to an already sent email. Once an email is sent, it's considered "final" and can't be edited or updated in any way.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

  1. Use the "Reply" feature: If you want to add someone to the CC list, you can reply to the original email and add the new recipient to the CC field. This will send a new email to the original recipient(s) and the new CC recipient(s).
  2. Use the "Forward" feature: You can forward the original email to the new CC recipient(s) and add them to the CC field. This will send a new email to the original recipient(s) and the new CC recipient(s).
  3. Use a third-party add-on: There are several third-party add-ons available for Gmail that allow you to add CC recipients to already sent emails. Some popular options include:
    • Boomerang: A popular add-on that allows you to add CC recipients to already sent emails, as well as other features like scheduling emails and reminders.
    • Sanebox: An email management tool that allows you to add CC recipients to already sent emails, as well as other features like email filtering and organization.
    • FollowUp.cc: A simple add-on that allows you to add CC recipients to already sent emails, as well as set reminders and follow-up emails.

Keep in mind that these add-ons may have limitations and may not work with all types of emails or accounts.
