How to add contacts to a group in google mail
To add contacts to a group in Google Mail (Gmail), follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Contacts page
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Contacts" icon () in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the "Groups" tab.
- Click on the group you want to add contacts to.
- Click on the "Add members" button.
- Search for the contacts you want to add by typing their names or email addresses in the search bar.
- Select the contacts you want to add to the group by checking the boxes next to their names.
- Click "Add to group" to add the selected contacts to the group.
Method 2: Using the Compose window
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- In the "To" field, start typing the name of the group you want to add contacts to.
- As you type, Gmail will suggest groups that match your search. Select the group you want to add contacts to from the dropdown list.
- Add the contacts you want to add to the group by typing their names or email addresses in the "To" field, separated by commas.
- Click "Send" to add the contacts to the group.
Method 3: Using the "New group" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
