How to add mail id to sbi account
To add a mail ID to your SBI account, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Through SBI Internet Banking
- Log in to your SBI Internet Banking account using your username and password.
- Click on the "Profile" tab and then select "Email ID" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Add Email ID" button.
- Enter your new email ID and confirm it by re-entering it in the "Confirm Email ID" field.
- Click on the "Submit" button to add the email ID.
Method 2: Through SBI Mobile Banking
- Download and install the SBI Mobile Banking app on your smartphone.
- Log in to the app using your username and password.
- Tap on the "Profile" tab and then select "Email ID" from the drop-down menu.
- Tap on the "Add Email ID" button.
- Enter your new email ID and confirm it by re-entering it in the "Confirm Email ID" field.
- Tap on the "Submit" button to add the email ID.
Method 3: Through SBI Branch
- Visit your nearest SBI branch with your account number and a valid ID proof.
- Inform the bank staff that you want to add an email ID to your account.
- Fill out the "Request for Addition of Email ID" form, which is available at the branch.
- Submit the form and the required documents to the bank staff.
- The bank will verify your request and add the email ID to your account.
Important Notes:
- You can add only one email ID per account.
- The email ID should be unique and not already registered with any other SBI account.
- You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number to verify the email ID.
- Once the email ID is added, you will receive all your account-related notifications and statements on the added email ID.
