How to add more flags in mac mail
By default, macOS Mail app comes with a limited set of flags, but you can add more flags to customize your email organization. Here's how:
Method 1: Using the Flag menu
- Open the Mail app on your Mac.
- Select the email message you want to flag.
- Click on the "Flag" menu in the top menu bar.
- Click on "Customize Flags" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "Customize Flags" window, click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner.
- Enter a name for your new flag (e.g., "Urgent", "Follow-up", etc.).
- Click "Add" to create the new flag.
Method 2: Using the Mailbox menu
- Open the Mail app on your Mac.
- Select the email message you want to flag.
- Click on the "Mailbox" menu in the top menu bar.
- Click on "View" > "Customize Toolbar" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + T).
- In the "Customize Toolbar" window, click on the "Flags" section.
- Click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner.
- Enter a name for your new flag (e.g., "Urgent", "Follow-up", etc.).
- Click "Add" to create the new flag.
