How to add multiple accounts to mail app
To add multiple accounts to the Mail app on your device, follow these steps:
For iOS devices (iPhone/iPad):
- Open the Mail app.
- Tap on the "Accounts" button in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Add Account" at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the type of account you want to add (e.g. iCloud, Exchange, Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
- Enter your account credentials (username and password) and tap "Next".
- If prompted, enter additional account settings (e.g. server settings, username, password, etc.).
- Tap "Save" to save the account settings.
- Repeat steps 4-7 for each additional account you want to add.
For Android devices:
- Open the Mail app.
- Tap on the three vertical dots or the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Settings" or "Accounts".
- Tap on "Add account" or "Add new account".
- Select the type of account you want to add (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.).
- Enter your account credentials (username and password) and tap "Next".
- If prompted, enter additional account settings (e.g. server settings, username, password, etc.).
- Tap "Save" to save the account settings.
- Repeat steps 4-8 for each additional account you want to add.
Tips:
- Make sure you have the correct account credentials and settings for each account.
- If you're adding an Exchange account, you may need to enter additional settings such as the server name, username, and password.
- If you're adding a Gmail account, you may need to enter your Google account credentials and grant permission for the Mail app to access your account.
- You can switch between accounts by tapping on the account name at the top of the screen and selecting the account you want to use.
