How to add template in windows mail

Windows Mail is a built-in email client in Windows Vista and Windows 7, and it doesn't have a built-in feature to add templates. However, you can create your own templates using HTML and CSS, and then use a third-party add-in or a workaround to apply them to your emails.

Here are a few methods to add templates to Windows Mail:

Method 1: Using a third-party add-in

  1. Download and install a third-party add-in like "Windows Mail Templates" or "Email Templates" from the internet.
  2. Follow the installation instructions to install the add-in.
  3. Once installed, you can create and manage your email templates using the add-in's interface.
  4. To apply a template to an email, compose a new email, click on the "Format" tab, and then select the template you want to use.

Method 2: Using a workaround with HTML and CSS

  1. Create a new HTML file with a .html extension and add your template code to it. You can use a text editor like Notepad to create the file.
  2. Add a <style> section to the HTML file to define your CSS styles.
  3. Save the HTML file to a location on your computer, such as the "Documents" folder.
  4. In Windows Mail, compose a new email and click on the "Format" tab.
  5. Click on the "Insert" button and select "HTML" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Browse to the location where you saved your HTML file and select it.
  7. The template will be applied to your email.

Method 3: Using a template editor

  1. Download and install a template editor like "Email Template Editor" or "HTML Email Template Editor" from the internet.
  2. Use the template editor to create and design your email template.
  3. Once you've created the template, save it as an HTML file.
  4. Follow the same steps as Method 2 to apply the template to an email in Windows Mail.

Note that these methods may require some technical expertise and may not work perfectly with all versions of Windows Mail. Additionally, some third-party add-ins may not be compatible with Windows Mail or may have limitations.
