How to attach an e mail in gmail
To attach an email in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Attach an email as a PDF
- Open the email you want to attach in Gmail.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Print" from the dropdown menu.
- In the print window, select "Save as PDF" as the printer.
- Choose a location to save the PDF file, and click "Save".
- Go back to the original email and click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select the PDF file you just saved, and click "Open".
Method 2: Forward the email with attachments
- Open the email you want to attach in Gmail.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Forward" from the dropdown menu.
- In the forward window, click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select the file you want to attach, and click "Open".
- In the "To" field, enter the email address of the person you want to send the attached email to.
- Add any additional text or comments you want to include, and click "Send".
Method 3: Use the "Insert from message" feature
- Open a new email in Gmail.
- Click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select "Insert from message" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "Insert from message" window, select the email you want to attach from your Gmail inbox.
- Choose the specific message you want to attach, and click "Insert".
- The attached email will be inserted into the new email as a PDF file.
- You can then add any additional text or comments, and click "Send".
Note: The "Insert from message" feature is only available in the Gmail web interface, and not in the mobile app.
