How to attach email in google mail
To attach an email in Google Mail (Gmail), you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Attach an email as a PDF
- Open the email you want to attach in Gmail.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Print" from the dropdown menu.
- In the print window, select "Save as PDF" as the printer.
- Choose a location to save the PDF file, and click "Save".
- Go to the email you want to send the attachment from, and click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select the PDF file you just saved, and click "Open".
Method 2: Forward an email with attachments
- Open the email you want to attach in Gmail.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Forward" from the dropdown menu.
- In the forward window, click on the "Attach file" button.
- Select the file you want to attach from your computer, and click "Open".
- Enter the recipient's email address, and add any additional text if needed.
- Click "Send" to send the forwarded email with attachments.
Method 3: Use the "Insert from message" feature
- Open the email you want to attach in Gmail.
- Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- In the new email window, click on the paperclip icon to attach a file.
- Select "Insert from message" from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the email you want to attach from the list of available emails.
- Select the file you want to attach from the email, and click "Open".
- Enter the recipient's email address, and add any additional text if needed.
- Click "Send" to send the email with attachments.
Note: The "Insert from message" feature is only available if you have the "Show original" button enabled in your Gmail settings. To enable this feature, go to Settings > Advanced > Show original, and toggle the switch to the "On" position.
