How to attach mail in another mail in outlook
In Outlook, you can attach a new email to an existing email by using the "Attach File" feature and selecting the email you want to attach. Here's how:
Method 1: Attach a new email to an existing email
- Open the existing email you want to attach the new email to.
- Click on the "Attach File" button in the "Message" tab of the ribbon.
- In the "Attach File" dialog box, select "Outlook Item" from the dropdown menu.
- Browse to the email you want to attach and select it.
- Click "OK" to attach the email.
Method 2: Use the "Reply with Attachment" feature
- Open the existing email you want to attach the new email to.
- Click on the "Reply" button in the "Message" tab of the ribbon.
- In the "Reply" window, click on the "Attach File" button.
- In the "Attach File" dialog box, select "Outlook Item" from the dropdown menu.
- Browse to the email you want to attach and select it.
- Click "OK" to attach the email.
Method 3: Use the "Insert Item" feature
- Open the existing email you want to attach the new email to.
- Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Item" button in the "Include" group.
- In the "Insert Item" dialog box, select "Outlook Item" from the dropdown menu.
- Browse to the email you want to attach and select it.
- Click "OK" to attach the email.
Once you've attached the new email to the existing email, you can edit the attachment as needed, such as adding a subject line or modifying the body of the email.
Note: When you attach an email to another email, the attachment will be a.msg file, which is a proprietary file format used by Outlook.
