How to attach previous conversation mail in gmail
To attach a previous conversation in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the "Attach file" button
- Open the new email you want to send.
- Click on the "Attach file" button.
- In the "Attach file" window, click on the "More" dropdown menu.
- Select "Previous conversations" from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the conversation you want to attach from the list of previous conversations.
- Click "Attach" to attach the conversation to your new email.
Method 2: Using the "Insert chat" button
- Open the new email you want to send.
- Click on the "Insert chat" button (it looks like a speech bubble).
- In the "Insert chat" window, select the conversation you want to attach from the list of previous conversations.
- Click "Insert" to attach the conversation to your new email.
Method 3: Using the "Forward" button
- Open the previous conversation you want to attach.
- Click on the "Forward" button.
- In the "Forward" window, select the email address you want to forward the conversation to.
- Check the box next to "Attach a copy of the original message" to attach the conversation to the new email.
- Click "Forward" to send the email with the attached conversation.
Note: Make sure you have the "Show original" option enabled in your Gmail settings to be able to attach previous conversations. To do this, go to Settings > General > Show original.
