How to blind copy in apple mail

To blind copy (BCC) in Apple Mail, you can follow these steps:

  1. Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  2. In the "To" field, enter the email addresses of the people you want to send the email to, separated by commas.
  3. To add a blind copy, click on the "BCC" field at the bottom of the window.
  4. Enter the email addresses of the people you want to blind copy, separated by commas.
  5. The email addresses you enter in the "BCC" field will not be visible to the recipients, and their email addresses will not be visible to you.

Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut "Command + Shift + B" to quickly add a blind copy.

Note: When you use the "BCC" field, the email addresses you enter will not be visible to the recipients, but they will still be able to reply to the email and see the email addresses of the other recipients.

Here's an example of how the "To" and "BCC" fields might look:

To: John Smith, Jane Doe BCC: [email protected], [email protected]

In this example, John Smith and Jane Doe will receive the email, but they will not see the email addresses of the blind copied recipients.
