To block a mail address in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Block a sender's email address
- Open your Gmail inbox.
- Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on "Create a new filter".
- In the "From" field, enter the email address you want to block.
- Click on "Create filter".
- In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "Block".
- Click on "Create".
Method 2: Block a sender's email address from a specific email
- Open the email from the sender you want to block.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking on "Block" in the pop-up window.
Method 3: Block a sender's email address using the "Report spam" feature
- Open the email from the sender you want to block.
- Click on the "Report spam" button at the top of the email.
- Confirm that you want to report the email as spam by clicking on "Report spam" in the pop-up window.
