To block a mail on Gmail, you can follow these steps:

  3. Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "Block" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Block a sender's email address from the Gmail settings

  2. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  5. Enter the sender's email address in the "From" field.
  6. Click on the "Create" button.
  7. Select "Block" as the action and click "Create" again.

Method 3: Block a sender's email address from the email itself

  1. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  3. Select "Report spam" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Confirm that you want to report the email as spam by clicking "Report spam" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you block a sender's email address, Gmail will automatically move any future emails from that sender to your Spam folder. If you want to unblock a sender, you can go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab in your Gmail settings and remove the block.

Additionally, you can also use Gmail's "Report spam" feature to report emails that are not from a specific sender but are still spammy. This will help Gmail's algorithms to improve their spam detection and reduce the amount of spam emails you receive.
