How to block a person on aol mail

A blast from the past! AOL Mail is still around, and I'm happy to help you with blocking a person. Here's how:

Method 1: Block a sender using AOL Mail's built-in feature

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear or a cog) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Select "More Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "Block Senders" from the left-hand menu.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to block in the "Block sender" field.
  6. Click "Add" to add the sender to your block list.
  7. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 2: Block a sender using AOL's Spam Filter

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Spam Filter" link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on "Manage Spam Filter" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "Block Senders" from the left-hand menu.
  5. Enter the email address of the person you want to block in the "Block sender" field.
  6. Click "Add" to add the sender to your block list.
  7. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Method 3: Block a sender using AOL's Contact List

  1. Log in to your AOL Mail account.
  2. Click on the "Contacts" link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on "Manage Contacts" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Find the contact you want to block and click on the "Edit" button next to their name.
  5. Scroll down to the "Block" section and select "Block" from the dropdown menu.
  6. Confirm that you want to block the contact by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.

Once you've blocked a sender using any of these methods, they will no longer be able to send you emails. Note that AOL may still deliver emails from blocked senders to your Spam folder, so be sure to regularly check your Spam folder to ensure that you're not missing important messages.
