How to block email on mail app

To block an email on the Mail app on your iPhone or iPad, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Block an email from a specific sender

  1. Open the Mail app and go to the inbox.
  2. Find the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Swipe left on the email to reveal the "More" option.
  4. Tap "More" and then tap "Block [Sender's Name]".
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by tapping "Block" again.

Method 2: Block an email from a specific domain

  1. Open the Mail app and go to the inbox.
  2. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap "Filter" and then tap "Add Filter".
  4. Tap "Sender" and select "Contains" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Enter the domain you want to block (e.g., @example.com).
  6. Tap "Save" to save the filter.
  7. Go back to the inbox and swipe left on an email from the blocked domain to reveal the "More" option.
  8. Tap "More" and then tap "Block [Domain]".
  9. Confirm that you want to block the domain by tapping "Block" again.
