How to block particular mail id in gmail

There are a few ways to block a particular email address in Gmail:

Method 1: Using Gmail's built-in feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on "Create a new filter".
  6. Enter the email address you want to block in the "From" field.
  7. Click on "Create filter".
  8. Select "Block" as the action.
  9. Click on "Create" to save the filter.

Method 2: Using Gmail's "Block" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Block [sender's email address]" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to block the sender by clicking on "Block" in the pop-up window.

Method 3: Using Gmail's "Report spam" feature

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Open the email from the sender you want to block.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
  4. Select "Report spam" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to report the email as spam by clicking on "Report spam" in the pop-up window.

Note: When you block an email address, Gmail will automatically move any future emails from that address to the "Spam" folder. If you want to block an email address and also delete any existing emails from that address, you can use Method 1 and select "Delete it" as the action instead of "Block".

Also, keep in mind that blocking an email address is not foolproof, as spammers can easily create new email addresses to send emails from. However, blocking an email address can help reduce the amount of spam you receive and make it easier to manage your inbox.
