How to block sender on apple mail
To block a sender in Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:
On a Mac:
- Open Apple Mail and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
- Click on the "Message" menu at the top of the screen and select "Block This Sender" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + B).
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Click "Block" to confirm that you want to block the sender.
Alternatively, you can also block a sender by:
- Selecting the email message from the sender you want to block.
- Right-clicking (or control-clicking) on the message and selecting "Block This Sender" from the context menu.
On an iOS device:
- Open the Mail app and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
- Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap the "Block This Sender" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap "Block" to confirm that you want to block the sender.
Once you've blocked a sender, any future emails from that sender will be automatically moved to the "Junk" folder and won't be delivered to your inbox.
Note: If you're using iCloud Mail, you can also block senders from the iCloud website. Log in to your iCloud account, go to the "Mail" settings, and click on "Blocked Senders" to add a sender to the block list.
