How to block sender on apple mail

To block a sender in Apple Mail on your Mac or iOS device, follow these steps:

On a Mac:

  1. Open Apple Mail and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Click on the "Message" menu at the top of the screen and select "Block This Sender" (or use the keyboard shortcut Command + Shift + B).
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear. Click "Block" to confirm that you want to block the sender.

Alternatively, you can also block a sender by:

  1. Selecting the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Right-clicking (or control-clicking) on the message and selecting "Block This Sender" from the context menu.

On an iOS device:

  1. Open the Mail app and select the email message from the sender you want to block.
  2. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the "Block This Sender" button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Tap "Block" to confirm that you want to block the sender.

Once you've blocked a sender, any future emails from that sender will be automatically moved to the "Junk" folder and won't be delivered to your inbox.

Note: If you're using iCloud Mail, you can also block senders from the iCloud website. Log in to your iCloud account, go to the "Mail" settings, and click on "Blocked Senders" to add a sender to the block list.
