To block someone on Proton Mail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Block a sender in the Proton Mail web interface

  1. Log in to your Proton Mail account on the web interface.
  2. Go to the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "Filters" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on "Block" in the left-hand menu.
  5. Enter the email address or domain you want to block in the "Block" field.
  6. Choose the type of blocking you want to apply:
    • "Block all emails from this sender" will block all emails from the specified sender.
    • "Mark as spam" will mark emails from the specified sender as spam, but still deliver them to your inbox.
  7. Click "Save" to apply the block.

Method 2: Block a sender in the Proton Mail mobile app

  1. Open the Proton Mail app on your mobile device.
