To block someone on Proton Mail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Block a sender in the Proton Mail web interface
- Log in to your Proton Mail account on the web interface.
- Go to the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Filters" from the dropdown menu.
- Click on "Block" in the left-hand menu.
- Enter the email address or domain you want to block in the "Block" field.
- Choose the type of blocking you want to apply:
- "Block all emails from this sender" will block all emails from the specified sender.
- "Mark as spam" will mark emails from the specified sender as spam, but still deliver them to your inbox.
- Click "Save" to apply the block.
Method 2: Block a sender in the Proton Mail mobile app
- Open the Proton Mail app on your mobile device.
- Tap the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear) in the top right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down to the "Filters" section.
- Tap "Block" and then "Add Block".
- Enter the email address or domain you want to block in the "Block" field.
