How to cancel forward email rule on windows mail

To cancel a forward email rule in Windows Mail, follow these steps:

  1. Open Windows Mail: You can do this by searching for "Windows Mail" in the Start menu, or by finding it in the Start menu under "All Apps".
  2. Click on the "Rules" button: In the top menu bar, click on the "Rules" button. This will open the "Rules" window.
  3. Select the rule you want to cancel: In the "Rules" window, select the rule you want to cancel by clicking on it.
  4. Click on the "Edit" button: Once you've selected the rule, click on the "Edit" button.
  5. Uncheck the "Forward" box: In the "Edit Rule" window, uncheck the box next to "Forward" to disable the rule.
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes: Click "OK" to save the changes to the rule.
  7. Confirm the cancellation: You will be prompted to confirm that you want to cancel the rule. Click "Yes" to confirm.

Alternatively, you can also cancel a forward email rule by right-clicking on the rule in the "Rules" window and selecting "Delete". However, this will permanently delete the rule, whereas unchecking the "Forward" box will disable the rule without deleting it.

Note: If you're using Windows 10, you may need to use the "Mail" app instead of Windows Mail. The steps to cancel a forward email rule in the "Mail" app are similar to the ones above.
