How to cancel lirr mail and ride
To cancel your LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) Mail and Ride subscription, you can follow these steps:
Online Cancellation
- Go to the LIRR website at www.mta.info/lirr.
- Click on "Plan Your Trip" and then select "Mail and Ride" from the drop-down menu.
- Log in to your account using your username and password.
- Click on "My Account" and then select "Mail and Ride" from the menu.
- Click on "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts to confirm cancellation.
Phone Cancellation
- Call the LIRR Customer Service Center at (511) or (718) 217-5477.
- Tell the representative that you would like to cancel your Mail and Ride subscription.
- Provide your account information, including your name, address, and subscription details.
- Confirm the cancellation with the representative.
Mail Cancellation
- Write a letter to the LIRR Mail and Ride Program, requesting cancellation of your subscription.
- Include your name, address, and subscription details in the letter.
- Mail the letter to: LIRR Mail and Ride Program 2 Washington Street Jamaica, NY 11417
Important Notes
- Cancellation requests must be received at least 5 business days prior to the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the next month.
