How to cc mails in mailchimp
CC (Carbon Copy) emails in Mailchimp allow you to send a copy of an email campaign to additional recipients who are not part of the original campaign audience. Here's how to CC emails in Mailchimp:
Method 1: CC emails when creating a campaign
- Log in to your Mailchimp account and create a new campaign.
- In the "To" field, enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to send the campaign to.
- In the "CC" field, enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to CC. You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas.
- Click "Send" to send the campaign.
Method 2: CC emails when sending a campaign
- Log in to your Mailchimp account and go to the "Campaigns" tab.
- Find the campaign you want to send and click the "Send" button.
- In the "Send" window, click the "CC" button next to the "To" field.
- Enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to CC. You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas.
- Click "Send" to send the campaign.
Method 3: CC emails using a merge tag
- Log in to your Mailchimp account and create a new campaign.
- In the campaign content, add a merge tag for the CC field. For example,
%%cc_email%%
. - In the "Settings" tab, click on "Merge Tags" and add a new merge tag with the name "CC Email".
- In the "Merge Tag" window, enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to CC, separated by commas.
- Click "Save" to save the merge tag.
- In the campaign content, replace the
%%cc_email%%
merge tag with the actual CC email addresses. - Click "Send" to send the campaign.
Note: When you CC emails in Mailchimp, the CC recipients will receive a copy of the email campaign, but they will not be added to your Mailchimp audience.
