How to change address and mail id in icai
To change your address and/or email ID in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), you can follow these steps:
Online Method:
- Log in to your ICAI account on the official website: www.icai.org
- Click on the "My Profile" tab and select "Update Profile"
- Fill in the required details, including your new address and/or email ID
- Upload the required documents (if any)
- Click on "Submit" to update your profile
Offline Method:
- Download and print the "Change of Address/Email ID" form from the ICAI website: www.icai.org
- Fill in the form with your new address and/or email ID
- Attach the required documents (if any)
- Send the completed form to the ICAI office at the following address:

Required Documents:
- Proof of identity (e.g. PAN card, Aadhaar card, driving license)
- Proof of address (e.g. electricity bill, bank statement, rent agreement)
- Email ID change: a copy of the email ID change request from your current email service provider
Fees:
- There is no fee for changing your address in ICAI.
- However, if you are changing your email ID, you may need to pay a fee of ₹100 (plus GST) for updating your email ID in the ICAI database.
Note:
- It may take some time for the changes to reflect in your ICAI account, so please allow a few days for the updates to take effect.
- If you are changing your email ID, please ensure that you update your email ID with all relevant parties, including your employer, clients, and other stakeholders.
