How to change apple mail from archive to delete

To change the default action from "Archive" to "Delete" in Apple Mail on a Mac, follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Preferences.

  4. Click on the dropdown menu next to Move deleted messages to.
