To change the default email address in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Gmail settings

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
  5. Click on "Add another email address you own" or "Edit" next to the current default email address.
  6. Enter the new email address you want to set as the default.
  7. Click "Next" and then "Send verification".
  8. Google will send a verification email to the new email address. Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
  9. Once the new email address is verified, it will become the new default email address in your Gmail account.

Method 2: Using the Gmail address settings
