How to change e mail id in pran
PRAN (Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority) is a government organization that manages pension funds in India. If you want to change your email ID associated with your PRAN account, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Online Change Request
- Log in to your PRAN account on the PRAN website (www.pfrda.org.in).
- Click on the "My Profile" tab and then select "Update Profile".
- Scroll down to the "Email ID" section and click on the "Edit" button.
- Enter your new email ID and confirm it by re-entering it in the "Confirm Email ID" field.
- Click on the "Submit" button to update your email ID.
Method 2: Offline Change Request
- Download and print the "Change Request Form" from the PRAN website or collect it from a PRAN facilitation center.
- Fill in the form with your PRAN account details, old email ID, and new email ID.
- Attach a self-attested copy of your identity proof (Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc.) and a recent passport-sized photograph.
- Submit the form to a PRAN facilitation center or a bank branch where you have a PRAN account.
- The PRAN authorities will verify your request and update your email ID.
Important Notes:
- You can change your email ID only once in a year.
- The new email ID should be unique and not already registered with PRAN.
- You will receive an email notification on your new email ID once the change is successful.
- If you forget your PRAN account password, you can reset it using the "Forgot Password" option on the PRAN website.
