Method 1: Through GST Portal

- Click on the "Services" tab and select "Change Mobile Number/Email ID".
- Fill in the required details, including your new mobile number and/or email ID.
- Enter the OTP sent to your old mobile number or email ID to verify the change.
- Click on the "Submit" button to complete the process.
Method 2: Through SMS
- Send an SMS to 139 (GST Helpdesk) with the following format: "CHGMOB
" or "CHGEMAIL ". - For example, if you want to change your mobile number from 9876543210 to 9012345678, send the SMS as: "CHGMOB 9876543210 9012345678".
- You will receive an OTP on your new mobile number or email ID.
- Enter the OTP to verify the change.
Method 3: Through GST Suvidha Provider (GSP)
- If you have registered with a GST Suvidha Provider (GSP), you can also change your mobile number and email ID through their portal.
- Log in to the GSP portal using your credentials.
- Follow the instructions provided by the GSP to change your mobile number and email ID.
Important Notes:
- You can change your mobile number and email ID only once in a quarter.
- The new mobile number and email ID should be unique and not already registered with any other GST taxpayer.
- You will receive an OTP on your new mobile number or email ID to verify the change.
- The change will be effective only after the OTP is verified.
