How to change mail id in gate exam
To change your email ID in the GATE exam, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your GATE Online Application Portal
Go to the GATE Online Application Portal (gate.iitkgp.ac.in) and log in using your registered email ID and password.
Step 2: Click on "Edit Application"
Once you log in, click on the "Edit Application" button on the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Go to "Personal Details"
In the "Edit Application" page, click on the "Personal Details" tab.
Step 4: Update your email ID
In the "Personal Details" tab, you will see your current email ID. Click on the "Edit" button next to it.
Step 5: Enter your new email ID
Enter your new email ID in the "Email ID" field. Make sure to enter a valid email ID that you have access to.
Step 6: Confirm your new email ID
Enter your new email ID again in the "Confirm Email ID" field to confirm the change.
Step 7: Save the changes
Click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
Important Notes:
- You can change your email ID only once during the application process.
- If you have already submitted your application, you cannot change your email ID.
- Make sure to update your email ID correctly, as all future communication from GATE will be sent to this email ID.
