How to change mail swipe options
MailSwipe is a feature in Gmail that allows you to quickly archive, delete, or mark as read/unread multiple emails at once. To change the MailSwipe options, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" section.
- Click on the "Swipe" tab.
- Here, you can customize the swipe actions for each label. You can choose to archive, delete, or mark as read/unread emails.
- Click "Save Changes" to apply the changes.
Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
- Scroll down to the "Swipe" section.
- Here, you can customize the swipe actions for each label. You can choose to archive, delete, or mark as read/unread emails.
