To change the rescue email address in iTunes, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using iTunes on a Mac or PC
- Open iTunes on your computer.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer using a USB cable.
- Select your device from the top left corner of the iTunes window.
- Click on the "Summary" tab.

- Tap on "iCloud".
- Tap on "Account Settings".
- Tap on "Reset".
- Tap on "Reset All Settings".
- Enter your Apple ID password and confirm that you want to reset your settings.
- On the "Set up your device" screen, tap "Restore from iTunes Backup" and then select the backup you want to restore from.
- On the "Enter your Apple ID and password" screen, enter your Apple ID and password.
- On the "Enter your rescue email address" screen, enter your new rescue email address.
Note: If you're using a Mac with macOS High Sierra or later, you'll need to use Method 1 to change the rescue email address.
