How to change the receive mail directory for squaremail
SquareMail is a web-based email client, and as such, it doesn't have a traditional "receive mail directory" like a local email client would. Instead, it stores your emails on SquareMail's servers.
However, if you're looking to download or forward emails from SquareMail to a local directory on your computer, you can use the following methods:
Method 1: Using IMAP
- Enable IMAP access in your SquareMail account settings. You can do this by going to your SquareMail account settings, clicking on "Account" and then "IMAP Settings".
- Set up an IMAP client on your computer, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook. You can use the IMAP settings provided by SquareMail to connect to your account.
- Once connected, you can configure the IMAP client to download emails to a local directory on your computer.
Method 2: Using POP3
- Enable POP3 access in your SquareMail account settings. You can do this by going to your SquareMail account settings, clicking on "Account" and then "POP3 Settings".
- Set up a POP3 client on your computer, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Microsoft Outlook. You can use the POP3 settings provided by SquareMail to connect to your account.
- Once connected, you can configure the POP3 client to download emails to a local directory on your computer.
Method 3: Using SquareMail's Web Interface
- Log in to your SquareMail account using a web browser.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your emails.
- Select the emails you want to download or forward by checking the boxes next to them.
- Click on the "More" dropdown menu and select "Download" or "Forward" to download or forward the selected emails to a local directory on your computer.
Note that SquareMail's web interface does not allow you to download or forward emails in bulk. You can only download or forward individual emails at a time.
