How to check contents of thunderbird junk mail folder

To check the contents of the Junk Mail folder in Thunderbird, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Thunderbird and navigate to the folder that contains the Junk Mail folder. This is usually the "Local Folders" or "IMAP" folder, depending on your account settings.
  2. Click on the "Junk Mail" folder to select it.
  3. You can then view the contents of the folder by clicking on the "View" menu and selecting "Message List" or by pressing the "Ctrl + Shift + M" keys on your keyboard.
  4. The Junk Mail folder will display a list of messages that have been flagged as junk mail. You can sort the list by date, sender, subject, or other criteria by clicking on the column headers.
  5. To view the contents of a specific message, simply click on it in the list.
  6. To delete a message from the Junk Mail folder, right-click on it and select "Delete" or use the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
  7. To mark a message as not junk, right-click on it and select "Mark as Not Junk" or use the "Mark as Not Junk" button in the toolbar.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Junk Mail" button in the toolbar to quickly view and manage the contents of the Junk Mail folder.

Note: If you are using a POP3 account, the Junk Mail folder may not be synced with the server, so you may need to check the folder on the server-side as well.
