How to check mail by date in gmail
There are a few ways to check your Gmail by date:
Method 1: Using the Search Bar
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type
from:YYYY-MM-DD
(replaceYYYY-MM-DD
with the date you want to check, in the formatYYYY-MM-DD
). - Press Enter to search for emails sent on that date.
For example, if you want to check emails sent on January 15, 2022, you would type from:2022-01-15
.
Method 2: Using the "Show search options" dropdown
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to the search bar.
- Select "Show search options" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "From" field, select "Date" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the date you want to check (in the format
YYYY-MM-DD
). - Press Enter to search for emails sent on that date.
Method 3: Using the "Labels" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Labels" tab on the left side of the page.
- Click on the "New label" button.
- Enter a label name (e.g. "2022-01-15").
- Click on the "Create" button.
- Go back to your inbox and search for emails with the label you just created.
Method 4: Using the "Filter" feature
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab on the left side of the page.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- Enter the criteria for the filter (e.g. "From: YYYY-MM-DD").
- Click on the "Create" button.
- The filter will apply to all future emails, but you can also apply it to existing emails by clicking on the "Apply filter" button.
