How to check mail id linked with my pan card

To check if your email ID is linked with your PAN card, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Check on the Income Tax Department's Website

  1. Visit the Income Tax Department's website at www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
  2. Click on the "Login" button at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your PAN number and password to log in to your account.
  4. Once logged in, click on the "Profile" tab.
  5. Scroll down to the "Email ID" section.
  6. If your email ID is linked with your PAN card, it will be displayed in this section.

Method 2: Check on the NSDL Website

  1. Visit the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) website at www.tin-nsdl.com.
  2. Click on the "e-Filing" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Verify PAN" button.
  4. Enter your PAN number and click on the "Submit" button.
  5. If your email ID is linked with your PAN card, it will be displayed on the next page.

Method 3: Check with the Assessing Officer

  1. Visit your nearest Income Tax Office or Assessing Officer's office.
  2. Provide your PAN number and ask the officer to check if your email ID is linked with your PAN card.
  3. The officer will verify the information and inform you if your email ID is linked or not.

Note: If your email ID is not linked with your PAN card, you can link it by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to your e-Filing account on the Income Tax Department's website.
  2. Click on the "Profile" tab.

  4. Click on the "Add Email ID" button.
  5. Enter your email ID and confirm it.
