How to check mail setting in cpanel

To check your mail settings in cPanel, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account: Go to your website's URL and add /cpanel at the end. For example, if your website is example.com, you would go to example.com/cpanel. Enter your username and password to log in.
  2. Click on the "Email" tab: Once you're logged in, click on the "Email" tab located at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the "Email Accounts" button: In the "Email" tab, click on the "Email Accounts" button.
  4. Select the email account you want to check: You will see a list of all the email accounts associated with your cPanel account. Select the email account you want to check by clicking on the corresponding button.
  5. Click on the "Settings" button: Once you've selected the email account, click on the "Settings" button located next to the account name.
  6. Check the mail settings: In the "Settings" page, you can check the following mail settings:
    • Mailbox quota: This is the amount of storage space available for the email account.
    • Mailbox size: This is the current size of the email account.
    • Password: You can change the password for the email account by clicking on the "Change Password" button.
    • Forwarding: You can set up email forwarding for the account by clicking on the "Forwarding" tab.
    • Autoresponder: You can set up an autoresponder for the account by clicking on the "Autoresponder" tab.
    • Spam filtering: You can enable or disable spam filtering for the account by clicking on the "Spam Filtering" tab.
  7. Click on the "Save" button: Once you've made any changes to the mail settings, click on the "Save" button to save your changes.

Alternatively, you can also check your mail settings by clicking on the "Mail Settings" button located at the top of the "Email" tab. This will take you directly to the "Settings" page for the email account.
