How to check unread mails in outlook
There are several ways to check unread emails in Outlook:
- Check the Inbox folder: Open Outlook and navigate to the Inbox folder. You'll see a list of all your emails, with unread emails marked as "Unread" or with a bold font.
- Use the "Unread" button: In the top-right corner of the Outlook window, you'll see a button labeled "Unread". Clicking this button will take you directly to the first unread email in your Inbox.
- Use the "Unread" filter: In the Outlook ribbon, click on the "View" tab and then click on the "Unread" button in the "Show" group. This will filter your emails to show only unread messages.
- Use the "Unread" search: In the Outlook search bar, type "unread:" and press Enter. This will show you a list of all unread emails in your Inbox.
- Use the "Unread" flag: In the Outlook ribbon, click on the "Home" tab and then click on the "Follow Up" button in the "Tags" group. Click on "Unread" to flag an email as unread.
- Use the "Quick Steps" feature: In the Outlook ribbon, click on the "Home" tab and then click on the "Quick Steps" button in the "Move" group. Create a new Quick Step by clicking on "New Quick Step" and then selecting "Unread" as the condition. This will automatically move unread emails to a specific folder or take other actions.
- Use the "Rules" feature: In the Outlook ribbon, click on the "Home" tab and then click on the "Rules" button in the "Move" group. Create a new rule by clicking on "New Rule" and then selecting "Unread" as the condition. This will automatically move unread emails to a specific folder or take other actions.
