How to check weather sent mail received or not
There are a few ways to check if a sent email has been received or not:
- Read Receipt: You can request a read receipt from the recipient, which will send a notification to your email account when they open the email. To do this:
- Compose a new email and click on the "Options" or "Settings" button.
- Look for the "Read Receipt" or "Return Receipt" option and select it.
- Send the email as usual.
- When the recipient opens the email, you'll receive a notification in your email account.
- Delivery Status Notification (DSN): Some email providers, like Gmail, offer a DSN feature that sends a notification to your email account when an email is delivered to the recipient's server. To enable DSN:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon and select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on "Create a new filter."
- Enter a filter name and select "Apply the label" and choose a label (e.g., "Delivered").
- Click "Create."
- Now, when you send an email, you'll receive a notification in your email account if it's delivered to the recipient's server.
- Tracking: Some email providers, like Outlook, offer tracking features that allow you to see if an email has been delivered and opened. To enable tracking:
- Log in to your Outlook account.
- Compose a new email and click on the "Options" button.
- Look for the "Track" or "Delivery tracking" option and select it.
- Send the email as usual.
- You'll receive a notification in your email account if the email is delivered and opened.
- Third-party services: There are also third-party services, like Mailtrack or FollowUp.cc, that offer email tracking features. These services can be integrated with your email account and provide you with notifications when an email is delivered and opened.
Keep in mind that not all email providers support these features, and some recipients may not open or respond to emails even if they're delivered.
