How to clear all mail on gmail
To clear all mail on Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- In the "From" field, enter the following:
@gmail.com
(this will select all emails in your inbox). - Click on the "Create filter" button.
- In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "All" (or any other label you prefer).
- Click on the "Apply" button.
- Confirm that you want to apply the filter to all messages in your inbox.
Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
- Scroll down to the "Filters" section.
- Tap on "Create a new filter".

- Click on the "Inbox" label in the left-hand sidebar.
- Check the box next to "Select all" at the top of the page.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete forever" from the menu.
- Confirm that you want to permanently delete all emails in your inbox.
Note: This method will delete all emails in your inbox, including emails that are still unread or unmarked as spam.
