How to clear google mail inbox
Here are the steps to clear your Google Mail inbox:
Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab to view your inbox.
- Click on the "Select all" checkbox at the top left corner of the inbox to select all emails.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu and select "Mark as read" or "Mark as unread" depending on your preference.
- Click on the "Apply" button to apply the action to all selected emails.
Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the "Inbox" tab to view your inbox.
- Tap on the "Select all" button at the top right corner of the inbox to select all emails.
- Tap on the "Mark as read" or "Mark as unread" button depending on your preference.
- Tap on the "Apply" button to apply the action to all selected emails.
Method 3: Using Gmail Filters
- Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings".
- Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- Enter a filter name and select the condition "Has no attachments" or "Is older than [X] days" depending on your preference.
- Click on the "Create" button to create the filter.
- The filter will automatically apply the action (e.g. mark as read or delete) to all emails that match the condition.
