How to close apple mail

To close Apple Mail on a Mac:

1. Click on the Apple Mail icon in the Dock to bring it to the front.
2. Click on the "Mail" menu at the top of the screen and select "Quit Mail" or press Command (⌘) + Q on your keyboard.
3. Alternatively, you can also close Apple Mail by clicking on the "X" button in the top-left corner of the window.

To close Apple Mail on an iPhone or iPad:

1. Double-click the Home button to bring up the app switcher.
2. Swipe left or right to find the Apple Mail app and swipe up on it to close it.
3. Alternatively, you can also close Apple Mail by tapping the "Back" button in the top-left corner of the screen and then tapping "Close" when prompted.

Note: If you have multiple email accounts set up in Apple Mail, closing the app will log you out of all accounts. If you want to keep one or more accounts open, you can close the app and then reopen it to access the remaining accounts.
